Sam was born in December 1965 in Babinda, Queensland. He is from the Kalkadoon Tribe whose country is based around Mt. Isa, Qld. He grew up in Mt. Isa with the Kalkadoon and Doomagee people.
Wesley was born in Katherine on 19/2/68. He is from the Jawyon tribe whose land takes in Nitmiluk Gorge, and the communities of Beswick, Bulman and Barunga amongst others.
